Skills should've been there it was weird enough when 15 cans of soda equalled one medkit, now it's more like 3 or 4. well, if you didn't work with the Omar you might as well just ignore money altogether. Multiple pilots could've been an excellent idea, with various infil/exfil points for each, but it was woefully underused. The whole 'ally yourself with various factions as you please' thing - illusion of choice with no consequence. It was also cool seeing the other Tarsus grads throughout the game, especially how they changed depending on what you did.īut yeah, there were a lot of letdowns. I actually kinda liked Saman as a bad guy, and it made for a better final encounter with JC. I'm more tolerant of IW than I was when it first came out, though it still smacks of stuff that could've been great, but wasn't. It's more than a little strange, and I don't see how it got through testing without someone pointing that out. By default it's set to 16 or something and thus the game chugs like a beast by default. There's some tweak you have to manually input in Default.ini, something like 'cachesizemegs=(your RAM)'. My biggest beef with IW is it's coding was so godawful it barely ran on my well above spec machine.
